This brand started in 1924 as a shoe factory of the Dassier brothers. Shortly afterwards, this brand transformed into the adidas we know today and began mass production of footwear in addition to footwear and clothing. The brand also produces sports equipment, the most characteristic feature is the 3 stripes in the company's logo, they have become a permanent part of the subculture and are one of the most recognizable symbols of footwear. This brand is responsible for releasing many iconic shoe models, such as Stan Smith, ultra boost or Yeezy in collaboration with Kanye West. In 2006, Adidas took over Reebok, but it turned out to be a very unsuccessful purchase and shortly afterwards Reebok was resold at a significant loss. For years, together with Nike, they have been competing for the position of leader in the footwear market, but Nike still has a much larger market share.
