This is definitely the most popular and one of the most comfortable shoes ever created by Nike. This model hit store shelves as basketball shoes in 1982. This edition has two versions of the upper height: Low and High. The basic model is characterized by a rather subdued upper, with a large, horizontally arranged swoosh and a thick sole with the Air system, but without a visible air cushion. The number of color variations and editions is huge and over 2,000 different models have already seen the light of day. These were also the first basketball shoes to use the Air system. The success was immediate and in the first months the United States was flooded with a wave of Air Force 1. Despite the break from 1984 to 1986, people did not forget about this legendary model and as soon as it returned to store shelves permanently, it became a shoe associated with streetwear culture, even though it was originally supposed to be a comfortable option for basketball players.
