Designer belts – Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Off-White

A belt is one of the most popular first luxury purchases: it is practical, lasts for years, and is easy to match with different outfits. This collection features mostly Louis Vuitton belts – leather, Monogram canvas and Damier Ebene, including reversible models. Leather or canvas – which belt should you choose?

A leather beltwith a discreet buckle, such as the Louis Vuitton Initiales or Gucci Interlocking GG, works well with both jeans and dress trousers. A reversible belt is two belts in one – one side monogram, the other smooth leather. How do you choose a belt size?

  • Luxury brands state the length of the belt in centimetres, usually measured to the middle hole.
  • The easiest way: choose a size about 10 cm larger than your waist circumference.
  • A 40 mm width suits jeans, while narrower belts look better with suit trousers.

Care and authenticity

Wipe the leather with a dry cloth every now and then and protect it with a leather balm, and protect the metal buckle from scratches by storing the belt rolled up in a pouch.
